When you feed your dog it is just a simple process of filling up the food and water dishes and putting them back on the floor, right? It's not complex, since dogs dont need anything fancy. Well believe it or not, a lot of veterinarians don't agree with that statement. Although plenty of pet owners do feed their dogs this way, eating and drinking from an elevated feeder is much better for your dog for numerous reasons. Since the esophagus is already weak to begin with, the food often collects there rather than moving on the stomach. An elevated feeder reduces the work the muscles have to do and aids gravity in getting the food to the stomach, where it should be.

There are many different reasons to spoil and care for your dog. Most importantly, the day you agreed to bring him home; you in essence promised to care for him to the best of your ability. By giving your dog the proper materials to ensure lasting health is just part of doing your job.
