In Exeter there are just a small number of places worth a visit including; Rougemont Castle, St Peter’s Cathedral and the Royal Albert Museum. As mentioned earlier there is a small selection of nearby seaside resorts to see the finest being the old-fashioned villages of Beer, Seaton and Sidmouth.

Further away, in between Plymouth and Exeter is the sparsely populated moorland of the Dartmoor National Park with the overall area having several tourist attractions worth visiting including Buckland Abbey, Buckfast Abbey and A La Ronde on the main road, to Plymouth. Along the way you will pass by the Torbay area, which includes Paignton, Torquay and Brixham and is frequently called the English Riviera region.
